Mary's Heirloom Seeds Giveaway: Rae Dunn Tool Set & Heirloom Seeds

Mary's Heirloom Seeds Giveaway: Rae Dunn Tool Set & Heirloom Seeds

Mary Smith |

We LOVE Giveaways!!!!
This particular giveaway is inspired by my sister Michelle.  She found this beautiful Rae Dunn tool set and thought it would make a great giveaway item.

Let me tell you a little bit about Michelle.
She and her family adopted a little boy with EB.
What's EB you ask?
"Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a group of rare genetic skin conditions, which is characterized by extremely fragile skin and recurrent blister formation, resulting from minor mechanical friction or trauma."  They're called Butterfly Children and they're so fragile that even a hug could cause damage to their skin.
Michelle has become an EB advocate and I'm super proud of her!

Milkweed is my favorite! It grows so well in our area and is just beautiful to look at!

Hannah Crosby,

I have a dear friend who’s son has this same skin issue. They did not think he would survive, as a baby. He is now 28 yrs old and his precious mother still cares for him at home, by herself. God bless your sister and her daughter.

I love the first bee flowers of spring, the ill fated, much maligned Dandelion! I actually grow and save my seeds, yearly, for herbal uses and salads! May 1 is my 60th birthday!!! We just built and filled 6 raised beds and I am ready to grow!

Leigh Ann Long,

butterfly bushes!

Chelle,

My favorite Bee friendly plants are tulips and lilacs.

Sarah McFarland,

My favorite seed company! Thanks for the great seeds especially my wildflowers!

Sarah Garcia,

I look forward to seeing all of your posts! My favorite bee friendly plants is lavender! But I would also love to grow a few sunflowers. The bees go crazy on them when they bloom. I have a hive in my yard

Stephanie Zki,

My favorite bee friendly plant is the butterfly bush (2 of them, opposite sides of the front entrance).

Patricia Keene,

I love Mary*s Heirloom Seeds! I have never received seed that do not polinate – unlike other companies I have ordered from! Thank you! Sending lots of love to your sister*s family… love can heal anything!!

Lynn,

The wildflowers in my yard. The bees have been buzzing around those today!

Amanda Paige,

My lilacs and columbines are my favorites right now.

Catherine Barron,

Sunflowers would be one of my favorite bee loving plants. God bless your sister and little one!

Jill Hanson,

Lavender is one of my favorite bee friendly plants.

DeLayna,

My husband and son keep bees and I can tell you we cheer for the dandelion’s appearance each spring. And Borage. It’s beautiful and I just discovered how amazing it is for bees.

Linda Stoltzfus,

I have so many favorite bee friendly flowers, but a particular soft spot for Queen of the Prairie. My mother fell in love with it one year, and it wasn’t hard to see why – so much pink! – and a very tall statement in the garden.

Jessie,

Oh I couldnt name just one favorite bee friendly plant… but sunflowers, borage, my cherry tree, tomatoes and so much more! 🥰

Thanks for the opportunity for a giveaway again!! Love love LOVE your seeds!

Sara Moore,

God bless your sister! I suffer from a genetic condition that’s similar to (but not nearly as severe as) EB, Chronic Benign Familial Pemphigus. What a loving thing it is that she adopted her child, knowing how much care it takes and what a heartache it can be. I’m sure her child has an amazing spirit!

That said, my favorite bee-friendly plant is the lowly dandelion. A weed to some, but a blessing to the bees!
