Mary's Heirloom Seeds Giveaway: Rae Dunn Tool Set & Heirloom Seeds

Mary's Heirloom Seeds Giveaway: Rae Dunn Tool Set & Heirloom Seeds

Mary Smith |

We LOVE Giveaways!!!!
This particular giveaway is inspired by my sister Michelle.  She found this beautiful Rae Dunn tool set and thought it would make a great giveaway item.

Let me tell you a little bit about Michelle.
She and her family adopted a little boy with EB.
What's EB you ask?
"Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a group of rare genetic skin conditions, which is characterized by extremely fragile skin and recurrent blister formation, resulting from minor mechanical friction or trauma."  They're called Butterfly Children and they're so fragile that even a hug could cause damage to their skin.
Michelle has become an EB advocate and I'm super proud of her!

honeysuckles i have in the yard

carol clark,

I’m going with the sunflower but there are so many favorites, thanks!

Sheri Newell Anderson,

Sunflowers!

Tiffany Hart,

My favorite bee-friendly plant is Mexican Heather! Maybe I’m biased because my name is Heather, but the bees were ALL OVER THAT THING, all summer and fall, right up until frost. It was such a profusion of blooms and keeping the bees happy keeps me happy!

Heather Watson,

I have some of my new seeds started in the coir pellets, looking forward to getting them in the ground :)

Diane,

Honeysuckle is my favorite bee friendly plant! Every summer my kids and I love to go on walks searching for honeysuckle. The aroma is so sweet and amazing. We can smell them pretty far away. We love to taste their nectar just like the bees!

Rachel Dial,

I’m just starting my garden, but have plans for bee friendly plants. My pear tree is now blooming, and I hope the bees enjoy it as much a I do! The columbines that just appeared one year are about to bloom—really looking forward to this.

Kat Crouch,

Bees love my citrus tree!

Min K,

Sunflowers are the best

Anna,

melons and squashes, i love coming out in the morning and hearing them buzz around inside the big flowers

Anna Pry,

The bees LOVE our wisteria :)

Kristen,

Sunflowers, roses and succulent flowers

Barb,

The sunflower.

Cassandra D,

My favorite bee friendly plant would be dandelions. Considered by many to he a weed but they are beautiful and nourishing.
