My San Marzano tomato plants grew to be taller than me! I gave them a tall trellis to grow on and also they grew on and in my sunchokes which are also taller than me. Great tomatoes for sauce or sandwiches. They grow in bunches of about 4 tomatoes and they ripen from the bottom of the plant to the top. "INDETERMINATE" means that they will keep producing for months and months instead of producing one crop and dying off like "determinate" tomatoes.
