Mary, I will always appreciate how you made gardening accessible to me when you had 99cent seed packs, now I have a good variety of heirloom seeds and food sustainability is closer than ever before. I like the availability of small quantities of seed so I can experiment with a lot of interesting varieties without breaking the bank. Prices and shipping are reasonable. Germination rate is good.

Homesteading gives me an incredible sense of joy from knowing I am building something to pass along to my children.
I was thrilled to find Mary’s Heirloom seeds last year. Too many of the old seed companies are not trusted to supply heirloom seeds. I appreciate the information about each seed selection and some have details about when they first arrived. The descriptions are very helpful. The luff available is not the same as what I was introduced to in 1969 by my husbands Aunt. She called it Vine Okra, it has sharp edges and a sweetness to it. I’ve compared it to mixing okra and cucumber when you dont have enough okra to fry up a mess. The fully ripe and dried fruit is exactly like the luffa Mary’s sells.
