Do you have seed packs based on zones and seasons? I’m new to gardening and this would make it a lot easier for me.

Tisha,

I live in central Florida I am interested in planting with my children During harvest seasons would like more information what is going to grow with our climates As we are moving into October what needs to be planted now and this month and making sure everything is natural

Megan moody,

Hi Gigi! I have sent you an email reply as well.
You can definitely plant all of those in one bed. If you’re using the square foot method, just mark your squares and start planting. I would recommend planting Eggplant on the outer edge since these tend to grow much larger than the rest of the veggies you listed and plant root crops on the opposite end of your bed with greens and herbs interplanted in the bed.

Mary @ Mary's Heirloom Seeds,

Hi, I sure can use your help with designing my new garden bed. It is part of a community garden in central Florida. It’s 4×8 and has some shade from an oak tree. I’m guessing that it is only getting 6 hrs of good sun. I’m interest in beets, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, kale, eggplant, Lavender and some wild flowers. Is that too much for this size bed? It’s ready to be planted now and I would like to order within the next day or so. Any advice for this novice would be greatly appreciated.
