Achillea millefolium rubra

Fragrant foliage and cheerful, long-lasting flowers make this an enduring favorite. Try this variety if you want to add color to a dry area. Yarrow is also valued for its herbal properties.

A million tiny flowers with yellow centers make up the clusters of rusty red blooms of Red Yarrow, widely naturalized throughout the country. Many wild gardeners favor Yarrow for its adaptability and tolerances -- particularly to heat and drought.

Perennial pollinator magnet with rich red blooms

Fragrant heirloom with mid-season Summer blooms

Thrives in bright, sunny growing areas

Contains 100 seeds

NEW ARRIVAL for 2027

Planting tips: Direct sow red yarrow seeds in fall or early spring; fall planted seed will remain dormant until spring. To start the seeds indoors, plant Achillea Millefolium Rubra seeds just below the surface of the soil since they need light to germinate. Keep the soil temperature at 65-75 degrees F, but out of the hottest rays of sunlight.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) takes 10 to 21 days to germinate, and 6 to 12 weeks (or about 130 to 150 days) from sowing to reach the blooming stage in its first year.
