Perpetual Spinach Swiss Chard
50 days. European heirloom dating back to the 1860s. Belongs to the same species as chard and beets, but it has distinctive differences.
The taste is more like a true spinach than ordinary chard, and the leaves look like spinach too. Perpetual Spinach leaves are flatter and more pointed than chard, with slimmer stems.
An excellent no-fuss warm weather substitute for spinach in the Southeast.
Contains 100 heirloom seeds
I love chard but this is distinctly spinach flavored. A mild, sweet, and beautiful green. I plan to grow this every year.
Insanely productive. I overplanted!
This just keeps producing and producing...It is the best tasting spinach and is so easy to grow....Definitely a new staple in my garden!.
