I just knew I wanted this recipe book as soon as Mary announced its release and shortly after the release, I was blessed with a copy! I can not tell y’all how warm my heart is to know I’ll be one of those family members who gets to “start” a book of recipes that will be eventually passed down to the generations after mine. The cover is a hardback and the design is both cute and simple. The pages have a little thickness to it giving me that feels good to the fingers feeling 😅 It has additional information in it like wine pairing tips, quick substitutions, and measurement equivalents. There’s an extra index page for quick referencing to your favorite recipes and it’s page number. It contains a “more recipes” category- which I’ll be using for my go-to canning recipes. Oh and y’all, It has a back pocket! I’ll probably add in there a few handwritten recipe cards I already have on hand, a family photo, and maybe a little note for a sweet intentional touch to who ever uses it next! Would be a nice gift whether given blank or with recipes already written in it.
PS-If you don’t know where to start, Mary’s website has SO many recipes on it that are very much worthy to write in!
