Early maturing variety

This variety is known for its mushroom notes when cooked, brining a unique umami flavor to any dish. 

Creamy yellow tender pods are best picked at around 5" long. Prolific vines grow to 7–9'.

For thirty years Nellie Chernoff, who received this variety from a Russian woman, grew the beans in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. In 1988 she passed the seeds on to her granddaughter Marge Mozelinkey, who has been growing them.

Contains 25 heirloom seeds

Direct sow 1” deep when soil temps have reached at least 50°F

Direct seed into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Pole beans will need full sun and well-draining soil. Provide a trellis for these beans. Water well to ensure good germination.
