Early maturing variety
This variety is known for its mushroom notes when cooked, brining a unique umami flavor to any dish.
Creamy yellow tender pods are best picked at around 5" long. Prolific vines grow to 7–9'.
For thirty years Nellie Chernoff, who received this variety from a Russian woman, grew the beans in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. In 1988 she passed the seeds on to her granddaughter Marge Mozelinkey, who has been growing them.
