I have a hard time choosing a favorite, I love all flowers, but sunflower 🌻 is one of my favorite pollinators. Happy Anniversary!
I have lavender (early, mid, and late blooming) and always plant sunflowers for my honey bees. Plus anything else that I can get to grow that they can use for pollen.
Phlox is my favourite pollinator plant
Rosemary! I see bees buzzing around my giant plant as early as February some years, it’s always the first plant to attract them and it blooms year round (here in the PNW at least) so it’s pretty to look at even in December.
We plant dozens of sunflowers for the bees!
I’d have to say sunflowers. We’re fairly new at gardening and growing flowers and my daughter loves it so much. A friend in Germany sent her some sunflower seeds from there last year and they were wonderful to grow and to perk up the landscape here. I’d like to try to grow some new things this year, too.
My favorite is Zinnias and bee balm
