Right now, my favorite bee-friendly plant is the huge datura blooming every night right outside my back door. It’s lovely, lemony fragrance charms by night and in the early mornings, before it gets too hot, every blossom still open has a honey bee inside it.
My favorite bee plant is Bee Balm. Good for so many things!
My favorite Bee Friendly plant is Butterfly Weed.
You know, I don’t think I have a single favorite plant that is bee friendly. Too much to choose from! Isn’t that what nearly everyone says when asked about a favorite thing though? :) With that being said, Sunflowers are in my top choices. Love those big sunny faces. Basil too. They really seem to love the basil (the bees I mean, though I’m sure the sunnies wouldn’t oppose basil too much, lol)
I love lavender to attract bees! Lately, every morning I’ve been finding bees napping in each of my squash flowers! It’s so adorable!!
