Bulgarian Carrot Pepper - Hot
75-80 days. Bulgarian Carrot Pepper grows up to 18" tall and produces peppers that are about 3 1/2" long.
Like most peppers they start off green, but this pepper ends in an orange blaze of glory.
The color of a carrot! A very interesting flavor that starts off fruity and then slowly sizzles as it finishes hot!
The texture of Bulgarian Carrot is crunchy and perfect for roasting.
Fantastic addition to Homemade Salsa!
Contains 25 heirloom seeds
Great germination. They grow quickly, but the bush is a all to medium bush, unlike habaneros which get huge. These peppers are a bit smaller than jalapeños. Just a bit. But those color is bright orange. It stands out. The heat is the same as a Serrano, hotter than most jalapeños. And the heat is predictable. Some hot peppers just aren’t always hot. But these are. They produced well too. Production doesn’t bowl you over, but it’s puts out a few but puts out all summer long, till frost. Nice little peppers.
