Storing seeds prior to use: seeds should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for optimal germination.
Kids love these sunflowers! These large single-head sunflowers with abundant, nutritious black seeds.
Seeds produce giant 6-12" seed heads filled with delicious seeds. Stalks will grow 8-10'
To save seeds, cut the stem beneath flower heads when the backs of the flower heads turn yellow. Hang upside down and let dry in a cool, dry place for about a month. Cover with netting or a paper sack with holes to keep seeds from falling.
