Addendum to earlier review

I forgot to add that Black Beauty zucchini freezes well and makes the best blueberry zucchini bread I've ever tasted.

Best ever Zucchini

Black Beauty Zucchini is easy to grow, highly productive, resistant to most diseases and tastes great raw, grilled or sauteed. It's my favorite zucchini and one I grow every year. Here in my part of Arizona (Zone 8b in the Mohave Desert) we have long, hot, very dry summers and this zucchini revels in them. I generally find just two or three plants will keep us and some of our neighbors in zucchini all season long.

Great producer/hearty plant/small footprint

Got this variety especially to combat powdery mildew since we are coastal. So far it’s held up better than our other plants and is producing well with a compact footprint for the whole plant.

Excellent!

These plants were so vigorous and produced so many squash, it was beyond expectations. Plenty to eat all summer, filled the freezer with 20 packages and fed several friends families as well.

Great Products!

I purchased Mary's Heirlooms black beauty zucchini seeds and planted them a long side other seed bought elsewhere. Mary's Heirlooms seeds far exceed the other seeds planted. I continuously buy seeds from here and they have yet to disappoint. Plus my seeds always come with a free seed packet! I can respect a small company who takes pride in their product and appreciates their customers.
