Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe
80-90 days. An heirloom introduced around 1900 and once the most popular commercial cantaloupe in the Midwest. The Hearts of Gold variety of cantaloupe is a medium sized melon with a sweet taste.
The vine produces melons that reach maturity in eighty to ninety days. These cantaloupe seeds do best with full sun, in zones three to nine. Rich, sandy soil is preferable.
