We had a rough start and due to a jimsonweed explosion in our garden we had to mow everything. I had a few plants still in my greenhouse so decided to give it a try even though it would be a month late for planting. I had 5 Matt’s wild cherries so I put them in and wow they took off like rockets. The plants were huge and sprawled everywhere even with a fence to climb. And the tomatoes were unbelievable! I’ve planted a lot of tomatoes in my life but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any plants produce so many. I am not exaggerating at all when I say I got thousands of tomatoes off these plants, and there were thousands still on them at the end of the season. I could not keep up. We ate a huge amount and gave away a huge amount and we still had so so many left. And that isn’t even the best part. I would rate these tomatoes as the best tomatoes I have ever tasted. I’ve grown over 100 different varieties and these are by far my absolute favorite for taste and production is so far beyond any tomato I’ve seen before. And that was with planting them a month late. This coming season I plan to grow them on an arch so I can hopefully have a little more control over the plants. I highly recommend giving them a try.
