Wasabi Radish

$ 3.50

60 days.  Also called Japanese Wasabi Radish

This Japanese heirloom is a medium sized, oblong daikon type.  The flavour is sharp and tear-inducing for lovers of spice.

Wasabi radish seeds also make excellent micro-greens, with the spiciness developing early on in its tiny leaves.

Don't miss out on this double-duty crop! Radish greens are absolutely edible!

Contains approx 100 heirloom seeds

BACK IN STOCK for 2024 with limited availability

*True wasabi is not a radish but it's difficult to source and grow*

They are hot and smell strong too

They grew fairly well, about half what we planted produced. I put them in my pot roast in place of onion and it was very good and took some of the heat out. Peeled and diced of course. I couldnt eat them like I do regular radish because they were to hot for me raw. I am not a HOT fan, although they are not as hot as a hot pepper maybe comparable to a jalapenos heat. I am going to try them in a garden salad next. I also thing I harvested them a little late so that may have affected the taste some since they were our first.
