Purple Hull Peas are my favorites

Freshly shelled Purple Hull Pea. These are from Mary's Heirloom Seeds I planted these 2/12 and 1st harvest today 4/22. These are my favorite Southern Pea. They taste amazing 🤩 and are larger than the ones I had last year from Walmart.

Purple Hulled Pink Eyed cowpea

My husband and I have grown this particular cowpea our entire married life. Most of the peas stand above the bushy plant although it sometimes grows like what we call a half runner. Regular cowpeas are dry and drab tasting compared to these. Needless to say, they are so pretty too!! We love them.
