The 'Sweet Spanish' onion was grown in the U.S. at least as far back as 1916.This onion has a deep globe up to 6" in diameter and up to 2 lbs each. Shiny straw brown skin with white medium firm flesh this onion is a heavy producer.
An excellent variety for slicing. Its white flesh has a mild, sweet, delicious flavor.
