Can be sown spring or fall but fall sowing usually works better. Very cold tolerant.
Sweet, crimpled leaves are perfect for wrapping and stuffing. Outer leaves are deeply blushed with purple; Savoyed interior is crisp light green. Heads are 1-3 lbs
Very attractive and has sweet flavor. Can also be used of a storage cabbage.
