90 days. A large drumhead cabbage, very cold hardy. A fall/winter type cabbage, stores very well. Introduced in 1924, it is an excellent market variety that is becoming rare.

Very good

This cabbage is a keeper. I find it loves to be grown in both 5 gallon buckets or grow bags compared to the ground. I did the ground last year and only had 1 out of 10 that did good. This year I planted in chicken feed bags for the spring and all 5 are a huge success. I harvested one to go into a brisket stew and used all but 2 leaves and it was a hit. I'm now growing 7 in 5 gallon buckets and they're just singing.

These grew well and are prolific. But the flavor isn’t anything special.

I can't say enough great things about Fordhook Giant Swiss Chard from Mary's Heirloom Seeds. I just ordered 10 more packs. It is gigantic and prolific, it shrugs off the heat, is still gigantic and gorgeous mid-October, and to boot is disease resistant and almost impervious to bug damage. Amazing!

I have a rare neurological disorder and was in a terrible flare into late Spring this year, as a result I couldn’t plant much in my garden, but I was able to get these pinkeye peas into the ground from Mary’s heirloom seeds. I was so happy I got them in, they kept producing all summer. We have limited water here, we are on a well and do not have the luxury of watering our gardens, but the peas didn’t care, they thrived in our scorching hot Arkansas summer. And of course, a huge plus is they grow above the plant so you don’t have to bend and search (which I can’t do while in a flare) for your goodies. I was able to save lots to plant next year. Thank You Mary for such high quality seeds!
