The 6 foot tall vigorous plants require trellising. The exceptionally long pods grow to over 10 inches long. This stringless French filet type pole bean can be harvested at 6-7 inches for extra slender beans. Dark green, firm-textured pods are completely stringless and delicious at all lengths, even after the seeds enlarge. Walnut brown seeds.

Best pole bean I've ever grown

Everyone should try Fortex. 12 to 14 inch stringless pods are excellent. This is the only green pole bean I grow anymore. Why reinvent the wheel? This is the perfect bean.
