Marigolds keep pests away – love them for that!
The seeds are great but what makes Mary’s Heirloom seeds amazing is Mary. She is a fantastic person and resource. The amount of information she shares is fantastic. She is only an email away. From planting herbs, to the best variety of garlic for my area to dealing with wildlife, she finds the answers for you. Oh yeah, her seeds! Great selection and germination rates.
I love companion planting lots of sunflowers in the garden, and using coneflower and vitex in the herb beds to bring in the hawk moths and pollinators. 🌻🦋💜

My favorite pollinator plants are zinnias, marigolds, and borage.
I don’t have a favorite, YET. I’ve never been much of a flowers type gardener. I did branch out this summer by putting out some Zinnias. They DEFINITELY brought in a beautiful selection of polinators. I love Mary’s seeds and buy VERY little from elsewhere. She provides my “fix”. 😊
My fall crop is up and all my seed from Mary’s germinated perfectly!
