My fav is any kind of citrus blossom! The scent is intoxicating!
The bees in my area love my lavender plants…so that is my favorite.
It’s hard to choose! I really like wild mint and Bergamot.
Lemon balm. I love the smell. I wasn’t as careful as I should have been and it escaped my pot, but it is so wonderful my backyard is almost full of lemon balm. The bees love it. When it blooms I will have hundreds of honey bee quietly buzzing around getting nectar. I love watching them in the evening sun gathering as much as they can.
I Love Bee Balm! It’s so beautiful and I love to use it in making tea blends.
I love calendula and mint for bees right now. They seem to really love those plants.
Well I can’t say it is MY favorite, as it likes to spread when it reseeds itself and it smells like a skunk…but the bees (and kitty cats!) absolutely love Catnip!
Out of all of the flowers on offer, native, non-native, blooming vegetables, when the catnip plants flower, the bumblebees and other tiny bee species are always all over it, over anything else.
The bees are loving my pumpkin plant blossoms this year so those are my favorite!!!!
LAVENDER PLANTS!!!!!
I’m a beekeeper and try to plant anything that I know my bees will love.
Ok. I LOVE my squash for bees. I love going out early in the am and seeing bees taking naps in my squash flowers!
