My favorite pollinator plant is Beebalm.

    Greg Panske,

My favorite pollinator is goldenrod! It’s a beautiful plant!

    Debbie Wood ,

My. favorite would have to be lavender. Hubby made a fenced in garden for me in the fall..(so many deer) so now I’m looking forward to spring planting.

    Darlene Alexander,

    I’m fond of petunias

    Ron G,

My favorite pollinator is lavender. It is beautiful, smells great and attracts the bees.

    Donna,

I started to garden at age fifty for grief therapy. NOW at sixty seven I am passionate about it. I sent seeds to a young mom who was bored and needed activities for her kids. She homeschooled them. I suggested gardening. She blew me off so I sent her purple bean seeds and explained them. She started them and next thing I know she is having her dad build raised beds and build a fence and her black thumb turned green. I mailed MORE seeds and she talks gardening with friends now. It is delightful

    juanita flener hamlin,

My favorite pollinator plant is lavender.

    Sandra Volkman ,

My favorite pollinator plants are milkweed and sunflowers; easy to grow.

    Gina Wheeler,

My favorite pollinator friendly plant is zinnias. I always have a variety of butterflies, hummingbirds and other interesting insects who visit them.

    Saundra,

beginner here to planting for pollinators. We are buying and planting milkweed but look forward to making a whole area we have, on a sunny bank, for pollinators. Looking to learn

    JEFF SMEAD,

Salvia and mints are wonderful for pollinators, but I always smile at the sleepy bee butts stuck in the zucchini and squash blooms in the morning. :P

    Hillary Young,

I’m excited to start gardening again. This will be my first vegetable garden in over 20 years. I have also planted fruit trees. And I’m working on a flower garden.
We just moved to Canton 2021. And last few years we spent building our home. Now it’s time for gardening and landscaping.
I love reading all you articles. It’s going to be so helpful getting everything going.

    Johnna Hale ,

    Thyme and oregano

    Karen,

Love marigolds and calendula as pollinators

    Nadine Hanks,

Calendula is such a beautiful and useful plant. In the southeastern US, they seem to struggle a bit in the summer heat, but then resurge in the fall. I keep mine watered & let them get a little shade in the late afternoon & they seem to fare much better.

    Cindy,

You are so helpful with my new gardening adventure! Thank you!
