I discovered Asters last fall!! They were a blooming riot on the roadsides We harvested a few cuttigns and our bees were all over them so I purchased some Aster seeds from Mary’s Heirloom Seeds…fingers crossed! I also received an Elderberry start from a friend and I hope they are pollinator friendly.
Thanks for your wonderful seeds Mary!!

    Sheri Lane,

Calendula! I always forget to plant calendula. Thanks for the reminder, AND for giving seeds away.

    Happy Groundhog Day!

    Jennie Brooks,

I’m so excited about the seed giveaway! WHOOOT 👏 I live in the family home, now it’s on 3 generations & still have the original heirloom flower beds in my front & backyard. Gardening is definitely my favorite things to do.
Gotta say I love my phlox as pollinators! I’ve got a variety of colors and it attacks loads of bees & butterfly’s. The aroma is beautiful!
Well, good luck everyone but I hope I win!!

    Ava,

My favorite pollinator plant has to be cherry sage. It holds a nostalgic place in my heart, as the progeny of the cherry sage my Dad planted over 20 years ago is still thriving at my childhood home, so even though he is gone he is still with us when we watch the Hummingbirds.

    JoLynn,

I’m very glad that so many people are so ready to help pollinators!

    Drew,

My favorite pollinator-friendly garden staple is the humble coneflower!

    Kim Casamassima ,

My favorite was discovered by accident. The Oregano got away from me while away for work one summer. The bees adore it and it’s centrally located in my yard. Now when my better half moans about herbs bolting, I shrug & point.

    Jberry,

The seed starter bags are absolutely charming!

    Kim Casamassima ,

for me it’s lavender! however, have planted many – we have to help the bee’s!

    kathy m,

    I love your seeds!

    Susan Shelton,

Any butterfly or bee attracting plant. I would pick zinnia but love butterfly milkweed.

    Sandy Davis,

    milkweed for the monarchs

    Heather Swanson,

We have some lilies in our yard and the bees and butterflies seem to love them, so I would say they’re my favorite only because it’s what we already have in the yard, and I’ve witnessed how much the bees and butterflies visit them. We have pink ones and orange Tiger Lilies. Honeysuckle is actually my favorite, though, because I love the fragrence.

    Lisa P.,

My favorite pollinator plants are marigolds. One of the few that I am able to keep alive.

    Ines Sigaty,

I’m ready to start my seeds indoors any day now! Thank you for the seed giveaway! I’m trying some new pepper varieties this year.

    Laurie Baade,

    Love those bags! Super cute!
