I just saw the video about the challenge. The seeds I will grow is the Ronde de Nice squash I bought last year. I am preparing the area for planting. Going a whole different direction this year. Taking my time and enjoying the process. Looking forward to awesome yummy home grown food.
Well, it is still too cold to plant out…or has been too cold but I am going to try planting some radishes this week while I’m on spring break.
I picked a few Easter Egg radishes!
I have Easter egg radishes planted in a bed of carrots and lettuce, some grown in jugs, and will be planting more as it gets warmer. I’ll be planting some Royalty Purple Podded Beans and Ronde de Nice Squash soon since our last frost date is soon. I can’t wait to have some nice healthy harvests of fresh food from my garden.
The kiddos are enjoying watching the radishes grow and harvesting is a surprise to see what color they have. They are super yummy too. Will be planting the beans this week!
I started this in my hydro garden which it outgrew and transferred to a large pot. Have no idea what it is my hubby forgot to label.
I planted my ronde de nice squash and 38 Royalty purple podded bean seeds today. I’m so excited.
After receiving 2” of rain overnight the seedlings look amazing!
